Author Guidelines

A research article should be written on relevant topics, contain the scientifically valid results of a deep research in accordance with the purpose of the article. A research paper should report original research and should not be previously published in other journals or considered for publication elsewhere.

Article Formatting Requirements

UDC index (page upper left corner, bold);

name, surname, scientific degree and title, organisation – authors’  (co-authors’) place of work or study and/or institution;

title of a paper lower in the centre (bold, capital letters);

abstract (not less than 100 words)  and  keywords  (5–7 words and/or phrases); the abstracts in Ukrainian, Russian and English are placed  as separate parts before the main text, Times New Roman (TNR) 12 point font);

the text body of the article should be structured in accordance with the Resolution of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine dated 15.01.2003 №7-05/1 “On the increased requirements for professional publications included in the lists of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine”, where it is said that those scientific articles are accepted to professional publications only which contain such required elements as:

problem setting in a general way and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks;

recent publications and researches analysis in which the solution to the problem has been initiated and which the author relies on, the allocation of the previously unsettled parts of the general problem mentioned in the article;

formulation of the purpose of the article (task setting);

presentation of the main research findings with a full substantiation of the obtained scientific results;

conclusions and further research in the field;

list of refrerences  at least 10 positions in the original language (references to the literarature  sources are given in alphabetical order, the literature is given which is reffered to in the article and which is made in accordance with DSTU 8302: 2015 Bibliographic  references. General provisions and rules of compilation (information and documentation);

references (transliteration);

abridged version (extended annotation) of a scientific paper in English should be submitted separately which should include all obligatory structural elements of the professional article (problem setting, analysis of recent research and publications, formulation of the purpose of the article, presentation of the main research findings, conclusions of the study). English version of the paper should contain 2 pages (up to 4,000 characters).

English version of the paper should be verified in one of the following ways:

translation agency;

University Department of Foreign Languages;

author’s signature if he / she has a document confirming the right to professional translation (photocopy of the document is submitted).

Technical requirements

The text of the paper should be typed on a computer (WORD processor (version 1998-2003) for WINDOWS), Times New Roman font size14 with line spacing 1.5, page margines: to the left - 3 cm, to the right - 1.5 cm, above and below - 2 cm.

The article length should be 12-15 pages (up to 25 000 characters).

Scanned or photographed schemes, drawings, tables, etc. are not allowed in the papers.

To publish an article, the author should submit the following accompanying materials to the Editorial Board:

  1. Printed text of the paper certified by the author’s (co-authors’) own signature.
  2. English-language version of the article validated in the accordance with the established procedure.
  3. Extract from the minute of the meeting of the department on the recommendation of the article for publication.
  4. The Doctor of Sciences another institution of public administration article review (organization or institution).

The signatures in the English submitted texts, the review and the extract from minutes of meeting must be validated with the seal of the institution.

  1. The author’s (co-authors’) application.
  2. The author’s (co-authors’) personal data.

The authors are responsible for the contents of the material.
